Windmills are useful machines but sometimes they are a bit of a nuisance if you want to take a picture. Now this photo was made using a digital camera and for a professional photo restorer this should not present any problems. So So little by little and leaf by leaf the rotor blades and the casing were removed from view. Took me about thirty minutes or 18 euro![]() |

Straightened out, corrected barrel shape
distortion, removed furniture to the right, a lightning rod in the middle, and
some weeds. It took 5 hours of work but I liked the challenge. Eh, 2 chairs are
missing (100% view).![]() |

If one is asked to restore 4 aerial shots and one discovers that they are not taken from a plane but from the bell tower of a church (and thus from a single location) you have the sudden possibility to turn these into a panorama. The photo was 11000 x 3000 pixels large is now hanging in the hallway of an apartment building that was build on the spot were the houses to right of the panorama were in 1959. The total cost was 200 euro (most of it for the prints which were commercially made by a local photographer). The Municipal Archive of the City of Venlo also has a copy.......by the way framing a behemoth of a picture was more expensive. |
